Becoming Catholic

General Information

Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Catholic faith and possibly becoming Catholic.

The journey informally begins after you contact us and we sit down for a short visit to determine your needs and how we can help you.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process by which those interested in learning about the Catholic faith, and possibly becoming members of the Catholic Church, learn and grow in their faith and understanding of the Church. Participants will be assigned a sponsor who will be their companion along the initial stages of the journey.

Please remember that this is a process and there is no commitment to be made until you are ready. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Adult Christian Initiation Coordinator at the parish office.
